Watermelon and Feta Salad

4 cups watermelon cut in chunks

2 handfuls of mint leaves removed from stems

4-6 ounces feta cheese sheep's milk variety

Place watermelon chunks in large salad bowl.  Place mint leaves on a cutting board and rough-chop with a mezzaluna knife or a serrated knife.  Toss onto watermelon and mix a bit.  Cut feta cheese into bite-sized pieces and toss into watermelon mixture.  Gently toss so all three ingredients distribute.  Serve immediately or chill for a bit before serving.

I've never seen these before...how do they taste?  I recently bought a few lemonade apples....a little bit more tart than granny smith's but, delish

David Venable's Cinnamon Pull-Apart Bread

3/4 cup maple syrup

1 1/4 cups sugar

2 1/2 tablespoons ground cinnamon

3 cans (16.3 oz each) refrigerated, original, home-style buttermilk biscuits

10 tablespoons butter, melted

Preheat oven 350F. Lightly grease deep 13"x 9" baking dish.  Pour maple syrup over bottom.  Set aside.  Combine sugar and cinnamon in large bowl.  take each individual biscuit and coat it in mixture; reserve leftover mixture.  Place biscuits in baking dish, arranging them in 3 long rows.  Make sure each biscuit partially overlaps another.  Mix leftover cinnamon-sugar mixture with melted butter, then pour over biscuits.  Bake 50 minutes or until golden brown.  Allow biscuits to cool in pan for 5 minutes before eating.  Serve warm.  Makes 24 servings.
