I cook from scratch too, but mostly from feel these days and nothing much fancy. Still went to a couple of fancy food places in Chicago a few months ago and thought maybe I could be more creative! (And 18th centyury food can be pretty darned elaborate.) Guess I should have sent this cake instead!
Hey, Brian, Since you are a foodie, I was wondering... I'm looking at my antiquated recipe book collection and wondering if there is a good fairly recent cookbook that incorporates some of the newer more exciting food adventures that are going on these days! Any recommendations?
